The race to the November 16, 2024 Governorship election in Ondo State is gathering Momentum as all roads that leads to the election contest looks literally contentious.
For now, the Incumbent Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa and other aspirants have registered their readiness to Battle for the ruling All progressives Congress Governorship ticket, as the party primary election holds next Month ( APRIL)
Despite the declaration by the National Secretariat of the All progressives Congress that there will be no automatic ticket for the Ondo State Governor but Hon Olugbenga Omole , the special Adviser to the Governor on Information still believe that Aiyedatiwa is positioned to win the forthcoming party primary and general election.
According to him, Gov. Aiyedatiwa the then Deputy Governor, who was later sworn in as the Executive Governor after the demise of his Principal ( late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu), was a Leader that is Loved and accepted by the people of Ondo State, as his interest in the Forthcoming Governorship election remains a welcome Development to the people of the State.

Speaking further, the special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Information, Hon Omole said the accessibility to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa by the people of Ondo State including the Leaders will be his selling point during the APC primary and November 16, 2024 Governorship election.
He stressed that the Governor is also embarking on different key projects to consolidate on the achievement of his administration.
Hon. Omole believes that Aiyedatiwa as the flag bearer of the All progressives Congress during the forthcoming Governorship election in Ondo State will collapsed the opposition parties for the Contest adding that the bigwigs of the major opposition party have started declaring there Support for the Governor as the Party primary and general election approach

The special Adviser however appreciated the people of Ondo State for Supporting his Principal while appealing to them to remain resolute in their quest for a New Ondo State under the Leadership of Governor Aiyedatiwa.
