Police in Adamawa State has arrested eight suspected members of an organised crime syndicate involving personnel from the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency (ADSEMA) and militia members.
.The Adamawa command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, who disclose in a statement said the command received a tip-off about the planned robbery and quickly dispatched a team to the warehouse in Limawa ward, Yola North Local Government Area.
The suspects, aged between 22 and 53, were captured just hours after executing their plan.
It was reported that eight suspects were arrested, including three ADSEMA members and five militia members.

Meanwhile, the Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, commended the police team for its prompt response and professional conduct, which led to the arrest and recovery of the stolen grains.
He urged the public to come forward with information on the hideouts of criminals and assured the government and citizens of Adamawa State of the police’s commitment to protecting lives and property.
