Following the delivery of 100 beds and 100 mattresses by Governor Caleb Mutfwang led administration to Plateau State Specialist Hospital in Jos, the Health Care facility has been devastated by rainstorm in the early hours of Friday.
The Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Prof. Christopher Yilgwan, while confirming the incident to Punch online in Jos on Friday, said the Doctors and other health officials affected by the rainstorm had been evacuated to safe location.
” As we are receiving the goodness of the purchase of “100 beds and 100 mattresses” we woke up this morning to find out that the whole block where some doctors house officers are staying has been destroyed by rainstorm.
” But we have informed the State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang and he has provided a temporary abode for them while we have a comprehensive estimate of the damaged Facilities and submit for renovation and I can assured you that all hands are on deck to solve the problems”
“The CMD. assured that” In no distant time, we will reposition the Hospital to serve the people better in line with the promise of Governor Caleb Mutfwang administration.
