The Senator who represented Niger South Senatorial District in the 9th Assembly, Muhammad Bima Enagi has completed the construction of a concrete drainage in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State.
This was disclosed by the Senator’s aide Hamidu Enagi during a chat with Journalist recently Minna.
Hamidu said the newly constructed drainage was expected to mitigate the scourage of erosion and protect the local community from its devastating effects.
He further emphasized on the important role the project was expected to play in the overall development of Mokwa Local Government area adding that it is against this background the Distinguished lawmaker decided to complete the drainage which was initiated by him while in office.
He therefore tasked beneficiary community to take up ownership of the project through regular maintenance.
Also contributing, the beneficiary community expressed their gratitude for the completion of the project, acknowledging its potential in safeguarding their community from erosion-related challenges.
They therefore commended the Senator for his proactive approach in addressing critical infrastructure of their community.
