The Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago has been conferred with the Grand Mayor of Vehicle Inspection Service of Nigeria.
Dr Danladi Mohammed Bako, the Executive Director of Niger State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency ( NSMVAA) announced the award during the conference for National Council of Directors/ Chief Road Traffic Officers held in Minna recently.

Dr Bako who was also the Chairman Organizing committe of the Conference said that the Investiture of his Excellency, Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago was born out courage and Ray of hope which his administration has given to Vehicle Administration in Niger State.
He described the Farmer Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago as a living legend, an example for other State Governors in Nigeria to emulate in the area of support for Vehicle Administration.
According to him, the Farmer Governor (Mohammed Umar Bago) said when El-Rufai was the Minister of FCT, VIO officers were more fearful than a Soldier because of Government Support for Vehicule administration in the Federal Capital Territory.
This is the Kind of background Support he said shapen Abuja VIO towards been rate as the best in Nigeria today adding that his administration will not be left behind in the area of Support for Vehicle administration in Niger State.
In this regard, all the proposals from the Niger State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency have been approved by the Farmer Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago.
It is against this background that the Council of VIO in Nigeria having view this immense contribution of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago towards Vehicle Administration decided to approved and confer him with the highest rank of Vehicle Inspection Service in Nigeria.
” With the approval and Conferment of the Farmer Governor( Mohammed Umar Bago) as the Grand Mayor of Vehicle Inspection Service in Nigeria, I have the confidence that Vehicle Administration in Nigeria will move to another height.” Dr Bako declared.
The Niger State Commissioner of Transport, Hon. Hadiza Idris Kuta who represented the Gov Mohammed Umar Bago and received the awards on his behalf, appreciated the organizers of conference assuring them that the Farmer Governor will do everything possible to take his Support for Vehicle administration to another height.
The highlights of the Conference was the presentation of awards to the Niger State Commissioner of Transport, Hon. Hadiza Idris Kuta, the representative of the Kaduna State Governor ( Senator Uba Sani) and other digintries present.
