An Indigene of Kwara State, Alhassan Adam Alhaji has emerged as the winner of the 2024 Nupe Literature Prize.
The Event took place at Kowa Schools Kpakungu, Minna Niger State.
Though the competition produces Alhassan Adam Alhaji as the winner, Zakari Isah Fujeregi from Gbako Local Government Area and Rahmatu Mahmud Salihu from Bida Local Government Area all in Niger State emerged Second and Third positions respectively.
Speaking at the Event the Director Indigenous Language Learning Centre, ILLEC Adamu Idris Manarakis says the Centre is fully ready to revamp the act of competition in among the students to enable them expressed thier talent of the Ingenious Language through Nupe annual book writing.

revealed that such kind of Nupe Literature Prizes would improve the standard of Indigenous Language in the state and the country at Large.
Alhaji Usman Chiji the Secretary Niger State NUJ said he was impressed with the performances of those that participated in the competition while congratulating the winners .
Speaking on behalf of the winners, Alhassan Adam Alhaji expressed his happiness to the Almighty Allah for emerging the first position at the fifth NLP event for the mark of eight years ILLEC Anniversary.
